In the match played at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium, Argentina's captain Lionel Messi scored a goal in the 35th minute of the first half to give the team the lead, while in the second half, Argentina's striker Alvarez scored a goal to give a 2-goal lead.
The Australian team attacked the goal post of the opposing team in both halves but failed to score a goal, Enzo Fernandes scored a goal in the 77th minute of the match but could not give the team victory.
